two cases, the
entrepreneur showed
up with either a
napkin, or a couple
of slides, and we
thought that the
idea was so good
that we were willing
to invest in the
strength of the idea
alone. In both of
these cases there
was no prototype, no
market information,
and no customer
traction. In both
cases, there were
only 2 people in the
company at the time
that we made our
investment.
